Simita brings a unique combination of business and federal government leadership experience to Novak Biddle.
Prior to Novak Biddle, Simita held senior management positions at multiple leading companies. At The Boeing Company, Simita led the stand up of Boeing’s multi-billion dollar cyber security business. She also led new market strategy development and merger & acquisition evaluations. At Booz Allen Hamilton, Simita led teams that advised the top executives of commercial and government organizations on strategy and operations, earning several client awards. At Deloitte, Simita worked on a Fortune 500 merger integration and a transportation joint venture. Simita also co-founded a medical education company, which is a market leader in board preparation for emergency physicians.
Simita gained extensive international experience during her tenure in the U.S. government, and received recognition from the White House for helping to establish the first free elections in Afghanistan. Simita joined Novak Biddle after serving as a legislative adviser to the U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman on the Wall Street Reform bill.
Simita earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Northwestern University. She graduated as the valedictorian of the Medill School of Journalism broadcast program, and worked as a television reporter for CBS News in Florida. Simita was selected as a Fellow at the Brookings Institution.
